Overview
Datair export grids tell CX exactly how to build your Datair census export file. Think of a grid as a translation template: each Datair column header is matched to the right CX census field. Once this is set up, your team can export cleaner files faster and avoid manual rework.

How To
Open Datair integration settings.
Go to Settings and open Integrations. In Add Integration, click Datair. You should see a modal titled Connect Datair.
Open the grid manager.
Click Configure Census Export Grids. You should now see Datair Grid Selection.
Create a new grid template.
Click Add Grid. In the new row, enter a unique value in Grid ID. After the ID is entered, click View/Configure.
Add Datair column mappings.
In Datair Census Grid, click Add Grid Column for each column you need.
In Datair Column Header, type the exact column name Datair expects.
In STAX·AI Census Field, choose the matching CX field from the dropdown (for example: First Name, SSN, Hire Date, Gross Compensation, or Ignore).
If you leave a header blank, that row is removed automatically when you leave the field.
Save the grid configuration.
Click Save while inside the grid editor, then click Save again from the grid selection screen. This stores your grid(s) in the Datair integration so they can be used during export.
Assign the grid to a plan (important when multiple grids exist).
Open the plan record, then in the plan details section find Datair Census Grid and select the correct grid ID. Datair grids only become selectable on a plan when the plan itself has Datair provisions uploaded.
Export a Datair census file.
Go to Plan Admin > Participants, click More, then choose Export Census File (or Configure Census Export and set Export Format to Datair). CX will generate a CSV using the selected Datair grid mapping.
If export fails, use these quick checks.
"Datair integration not configured": return to Settings > Integrations and confirm Datair is set up.
"No Datair census grids are configured": create at least one grid in Configure Census Export Grids.
"Multiple Datair grids available. Please select one for this plan.": set Datair Census Grid on the plan before exporting.
"Could not find the selected Datair Census Grid": the plan points to a missing or renamed grid ID; reselect a valid grid in the plan.
