Welcome to this guide on using the Stax.AI CX platform for setting up plan documents focused on calculating participant eligibility, compensation, and entry dates. This guide will walk through the process of uploading provisions, calculating eligibility, and understanding entry dates and compensation calculations.
Uploading Plan Provisions
To begin, access the plans page and locate the area labeled provisions on the right-hand side.
Upload your provisions document into the CX platform. Currently, Stax.AI supports ASC, and Relius plan provisions.
Contact Stax.AI team for help importing DATAIR plan provisions.
We plan to support more document providers in the future, keeping your workflow adaptable.
Reviewing Eligibility Requirements
Examine the uploaded provisions to understand eligibility exclusions, age requirements, and service requirements for plan participation. CX automatically maps provisions, including vesting and vesting schedules, saving time and reducing errors.
Editing Participant Information
Access a specific plan, such as Carter Reid's 2024 plan, to view participant details like gross compensation, date of birth, and hire date.
Note any flags raised by the CX platform regarding eligibility, such as minimum age requirements.
Ensure participant information is accurate to avoid incorrect eligibility and compensation calculations.
Adjusting and Validating Participant Data
If participant details are incorrect, such as the birth date, make the necessary corrections. For instance, if Scarlet's birth date was a typo, edit it accordingly.
Upon correction, observe how CX recalculates eligibility dates and enrolls participants into applicable plan options.
After adjustments, the platform automatically updates eligibility and entry dates, optimizing participant management.
Understanding Entry and Plan Compensation
Entry dates are calculated as the first of the calendar month coincident with or following eligibility.
This process ensures compensation calculations are based accurately on the duration of plan participation.
Check plan compensation calculations, noting differences from gross compensation due to eligibility timing.
Recomputing Census Data
If modifications are made to plan provisions or participant details, use the recalculate census option to update calculations.
Regular recalculation ensures your participant data stays current with any amendments.
Always ensure your documents are up-to-date, and utilize the platform's automated features to streamline your workflow. For any assistance, contact support at [email protected].
