This guide will walk you through the essential features of the file management system in Stax.ai CX, empowering your team to seamlessly handle files, collaborate efficiently, and facilitate document workflows such as filling and signing.

To begin managing files in Stax.ai CX, select 'Files' from the left-hand menu. You'll find the file system interface similar to traditional file explorers like Windows Explorer or macOS Finder, providing familiar navigation for users.

You can create and manage folders by using the menu on the right. Options include creating new folders, renaming, and uploading files. Double-click on a folder to open it and view its contents including subfolders, files, and related details.

To upload new files into the files system you can either drag and drop or select the upload button in the top right.

Your team can leave comments within folders and on files, as well as view the activity log for changes made by other team members.

Stax.AI supports form fill and sign for PDFs. To use this functionality, you can begin by uploading and selecting a PDF inside the files system. Once selected, Stax.AI will automatically detect form input fields. You then will have the option to add fields to the form and send it to your contacts for signing.

To give non-client portal users access to upload files to a folder, you can select Public File Upload. When a folder is marked as public, you will have the option to copy and send the link to the folder. The user will be able to open the link and drop filers into the public folder directly. Public users will not be able to see any files in the public upload folder.
