Overview
Using Stax.ai, if your plan sponsor does not use a payroll provider that supports API data feeds into the Stax.ai platform, you can provide them the option to upload payroll report files directly into the system. This task can be triggered to re-occur automatically using project template scheduled launches and can be set to launch at the same timeframe as the pay frequency.
Creating a Recurring Payroll Upload Project
To create a scheduled recurring project, view the project templates guide.
Creating a Payroll File Upload Task
To create a payroll upload task, begin by selecting the project that you would like this task to be in. Then select "New Task". Enter a task name, and the required assignee of the task.
Next, select the option for client task type, and select Payroll File Upload.
Once you have selected Upload Payroll Report as the client task type, the task will show the payroll file upload flow when selected in the client portal.
Uploading Payroll Files into the Client Portal
When the payroll task is created for a company, the task will show on the left side in the tasks section.
When this task is selected, the client portal will open the payroll file upload page.
From there the plan sponsor can simply drag and drop the payroll file of their choice into the system, and then the TPA can map the format and columns into Stax.ai.
