Creating and Exporting Custom Reports

Welcome to the Stax.ai CX Reporting Guide: Harness the power of custom reporting within your Stax.ai CX account to generate insightful reports for companies, plans, tasks, and projects. This guide will take you through a step-by-step process of creating tailored reports using the system's built-in functionalities. Whether you are a newcomer or need a refresh on the process, follow along to enhance your reporting capabilities.

Getting Started with Dashboards and Reports

Start by understanding the two primary ways of generating reports: using the dashboard system and the report generation functionality within the 'To Do' section.

The dashboard system provides pre-built templates, but the report generation functionality in companies and plans is more flexible.

Setting Up Reports for Companies

Navigate to the 'Companies' section to begin creating a customized report.

Utilize filters to control the data displayed.

Add custom filters by clicking the 'Add Filter' button and adjusting to your needs.

Generate the report by clicking 'More' > 'Generate Report'.

Choose to create a new report or select from existing templates.

Ensure to include essential columns like URL and name by default for company reports.

Once the desired filters and column headers are set, click 'Create Report' to download your customized report.

Creating Reports for Plans

Select the 'Plans' section to create a report. Use the filtering options similar to the company reports setup.

Plan reports require 'Plan URL', 'Code', and 'Name' by default.

Apply pre-filters by using saved company filters for more targeted report data.

Finalize your report by setting the necessary columns and generate it.

Generating Reports for Projects and Tasks

For project reports, access the section and follow the steps to apply client filters and column selections.

Click 'More' > 'Generate Report' to kickstart the report creation for projects. Utilize the saved client filters for pre-filtering.

Ensure the client filter is the cornerstone when setting no project filters.

Review the report, and adjust as necessary using the saved templates for future ease.

Conclusion: By following this guide, you have learned to effectively utilize Stax.ai CX's custom reporting features to generate insightful and tailored reports for your specific needs. The templates and filters are designed to accommodate a wide range of data queries and help you manage your projects better. Continue exploring the system to further refine your reports and make informed decisions.
