This guide walks you through connecting your email inbox to the Stax.ai CX platform so that all client correspondence lives right alongside your projects. You’ll learn how to link Outlook or Gmail, monitor the first sync, compose and schedule messages, and use built-in search and re-sync tools to keep every thread up to date. Follow the numbered steps below and reference the embedded screenshots for a clear, click-by-click visual companion.
Open the Inbox tab
From the main navigation on the left, click Inbox. This is where you’ll manage all email inside the CX portal.
Select Connect Mailbox
At the top‑right of the empty inbox, click Connect Mailbox to launch the connection wizard.
Choose your email provider & sign in
Stax.ai CX supports both Microsoft Outlook or Google Workspace. Once selected, secure OAuth window opens—enter your credentials and grant Stax the requested permissions.
Confirm folders & click Continue
After authentication, Stax lists every mailbox or label it can see. Tick the ones you want and press Continue.
Watch the first sync complete
Stax begins pulling historical messages. You can keep working—refresh or reopen Inbox any time to see progress.
Open & reply to an email
Once messages appear, click any subject line to read. Use Reply, Reply all, or add a quick Internal Note for teammates.
Compose or schedule a new email
Hit New Email. Draft with the rich‑text editor, attach files, then Send immediately or pick Schedule to send later. Drafts live in Outbox.
Use search, filters & folders
The search bar instantly narrows results. Filters for Unread, Flagged, or date help locate threads. Use Archive to keep your inbox lean—everything stays searchable in All Mail.
Re‑sync if something looks missing
Click More, Re‑Sync Messages to pull any messages that arrived since your last refresh—handy after working in Outlook or Gmail directly.
