Uploading Payroll Files in the Client Portal
If your company does not use a payroll provider that integrates directly with Stax.ai, you can still provide payroll information quickly and securely through the client portal. The portal allows you to upload your payroll reports as files, which are then processed by your TPA (Third-Party Administrator). This ensures your plan information stays accurate and up to date without requiring any manual data entry.
How It Works
Your TPA may set up recurring payroll upload tasks for you in the client portal. These tasks are scheduled to match your company’s pay frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.), so you’ll always know when payroll information is due.
When a payroll task is created, it will automatically appear in the Tasks section of the portal. You’ll receive a notification whenever it’s time to complete one.
Uploading Payroll Files
Log in to the Client Portal
Navigate to your company’s portal and view the Tasks section on the left.Find the Payroll Task
Look for the task labeled Payroll File Upload or similar on the left-hand side.
Open the Upload Page
Click the task to access the payroll file upload screen.Drag and Drop Your File
Simply drag your payroll report file into the upload area (or use the browse option to select it from your computer).
Done!
Once uploaded, your TPA will review and map the file into Stax.ai to ensure everything is formatted correctly.
