The Datair integration builds census export files in the exact format Datair expects. You set up one or more export grids — think of a grid as a translation template. Each Datair column header is matched to the right CX census field. Once a grid is saved, your team can export clean Datair files in a couple of clicks instead of rebuilding the layout every time.

Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Settings.

Under Add Integration, click Datair. The Connect Datair window opens.

Click Configure Census Export Grids. The Datair Grid Selection screen opens.

Click Add Grid and enter a unique Grid ID in the new row.

Click View/Configure to open the grid editor.

Click Add Grid Column for each column your Datair file needs: a. In Datair Column Header, type the exact column name Datair expects. b. In STAX·AI Census Field, choose the matching CX field from the dropdown (for example: First Name, SSN, Hire Date, Gross Compensation, or Ignore).

Click Save in the grid editor, then click Save again on the grid selection screen. Your grid is now stored in the integration.

7. Click Add Grid Column for each column your Datair file needs: a. In Datair Column Header, type the exact column name Datair expects. b. In STAX·AI Census Field, choose the matching CX field from the dropdown (for example: First Name, SSN, Hire Date, Gross Compensation, or Ignore).
8. Click Save in the grid editor, then click Save again on the grid selection screen. Your grid is now stored in the integration.

Note: If you leave a column header blank, that row is removed automatically when you click away.

If you have more than one grid, each plan needs to know which one to use.

In the plan details, find Datair Census Grid.

1. Open the plan record.
2. In the plan details, find Datair Census Grid.
3. Select the correct grid ID and save.

Go to Plan Admin &gt; Participants and select the client.

Choose Export Census File — or choose Configure Census Export and set the Export Format to Datair. CX generates a CSV using the plan's grid mapping.

You're all set! Your Datair census file downloads in the exact format your grid defines.

"Datair integration not configured" — Return to Settings &gt; Integrations and confirm Datair is set up.

"No Datair census grids are configured" — Create at least one grid under Configure Census Export Grids.

"Multiple Datair grids available. Please select one for this plan." — Set the Datair Census Grid field on the plan before exporting.

"Could not find the selected Datair Census Grid" — The plan points to a deleted or renamed grid ID. Reselect a valid grid on the plan.
