What are Projects?
Projects are the central hub for client work in Stax.ai CX. A project groups the tasks for one piece of work — like an annual review or a compliance filing — under one company and plan. Your team can see every project's status, owner, and due date in one place. That means less time hunting through email and more time finishing work.
Key capabilities
Launch tasks at scale. Create and assign tasks across many clients at once. This is a big time-saver for annual work like census collection or compliance tasks.
Track status at a glance. Statuses such as To-do, In Progress, and Overdue show you where every project stands.
Filter your workload. Filters help you zero in on one client, one due date range, or one type of work — even across hundreds of projects.
Keep clients aligned. Client-facing tasks inside a project show up in the client portal, so clients always know what you need from them.
How Projects fit into CX
Projects and Tasks work together. A task is one action item. A project groups related tasks into a bigger workflow. Projects also connect to Companies, Plans, and Automations, so the work always carries its client context with it. You can even launch projects automatically when other work finishes.
A quick look
The list shows all active projects with their statuses and key details. Filters sit at the top of the screen. The New button on the right starts a new project.
Find and filter your projects
Click To Do in the side menu. The Projects view opens with all active projects.
Click Status at the top of the screen.
Select a status, such as In Progress. The list updates to show only matching projects.
Click Add Filter to narrow further by criteria like client, due date, or plan.
Tip: Save time during busy seasons by filtering to one workflow at a time — for example, all census projects due this month.
Sort your projects
Sorting is the fastest way to find work you just launched, or to check on the projects that have been open the longest.
In the Projects view, select the sort control at the top of the list.
Choose Latest to put the most recently launched projects first, or Oldest to start with the ones launched longest ago.
The list refreshes as soon as you change the sort. You don't need to reload the page.
Tip: Sorting and filtering work together. Filter to one workflow first, then sort by Latest to see the newest projects in just that workflow.
