The Filed Statements Stack

What is this folder?

This folder serves as a storage space for all statements that have been saved to your client folders and gone through trust accounting.

How does it work?

When Trust Accounting is ran for a plan (either through TPA Plans or TPA Assets), the associated documents will automatically be moved out of the Trust Accounting folder and into the Filed Statements folder.

Helpful Information

If you ever need a new copy of a statement, you can easily download it from here.

Documents will stay in the Filed Statements stack forever, unless they are manually deleted by members of your team.

Filed statements will always save in the same orientation as they were uploaded. While the pages will be rotated right-side-up on the Stax.ai platform, this is only for display purposes. The physical copy saved to your client folders will reflect how it was originally uploaded.

Due to this, we highly recommend uploading all statements with their pages upright, straight, and in numerical order.

Above: the correct orientation to upload document pages

Above: Documents are uploaded upside down. Please keep all pages right-side up

Above: Documents are uploaded with pages out of order. Please keep all document pages in order and together in the same upload.

Above: Documents are uploaded with pages in reverse order. This can cause mis-extraction or inability to link to the account. This also causes issues with transactions and reconciliation.
