Getting Started With To Do

The To Do section is the central workspace where you plan projects, track every task, and let automations handle repetitive actions.

Projects

Projects act like a CRM hub: opening the Projects view shows all client initiatives in one place so teams and clients stay aligned. You can launch tasks in bulk for many clients—such as annual reviews—assign responsible owners, set statuses like To Do or Overdue, and filter by company, assignee, due date, or custom tags to keep large lists manageable.

Tasks

Tasks represent the individual action items that move a project forward. From the Tasks view you can create a new task with the blue New button, fill in its title, assignee, company or plan, due date, priority, and any relevant notes, and pick a client task type when the client needs to take action. Each task’s center-pane view shows all details, while the activity log on the right captures every update for easy auditing. As work progresses, change the status to In Progress and finally to Complete so reporting and downstream automations remain accurate.

Automations

Automations save time by carrying out predefined actions when certain conditions are met. Within any task or project you can click Attach Automation, choose a template, and set parameters like the email recipient or the project to launch. Optional conditions refine exactly when the automation should run, for example only after a task is marked Complete. Automations reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and scale effortlessly as your workload grows.

A simple best-practice flow is to create a project for each client initiative, add clear tasks with priorities and due dates, attach automations to repetitive steps, and review the To Do page daily to resolve blockers and close finished work. For deeper instructions, the help-center videos linked beneath each section of the To Do page cover advanced project templates, multi-step automations, and task turnaround reporting.

By following these steps you can organize work, meet deadlines, and let Stax.ai CX handle the heavy lifting while you focus on delivering client value.
