Navigating the Dashboard

Understand the real-time snapshot of your tasks, client health, and daily priorities.

Written by Andrew Flowers

The CX dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in, and it's designed to answer one question: what needs my attention right now? Instead of hunting through menus to figure out where you left off, the dashboard surfaces your assigned tasks, overdue items, recent client activity, and key health indicators for your book of business.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged in and have at least one company assigned to you. If your dashboard appears empty, your administrator may not have added you as an assignee to any companies yet.

Understand the Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into sections that update in real time:

  1. Left Sidebar — your primary navigation. From here you can access Companies, To Do (Projects and Tasks), Library (Templates), Files, Inbox, Dashboard, and Settings. The sidebar is persistent across every screen in CX.

  2. My Next Tasks — a filtered view of tasks assigned to you across all projects. Tasks are grouped by status: To Do, In Progress, and Overdue. This is where most team members start their day.

  3. Client Pulse — a summary of client relationship health scores. Pulse scores range from 0–10 and factor in email engagement, task completion timeliness, and manual adjustments. Companies labeled "At Risk" (score 3 or below) or "Poor" (score 3–5) need attention.

  4. Activity Log — a summary of your recent activity across tasks, compared to other team members in your organization.

  5. Client Responses — this will show a list of recent emails where you owe a follow up to the client or individual.

  6. Recent Emails — a list of recent emails you received, along with suggested tasks based on the content of those messages.

You should now see: your dashboard populated with tasks, health scores, and recent activity for the companies you're assigned to.

Use the Sidebar to Navigate

  1. Click Companies in the left sidebar to see your full book of business. By default, companies are sorted by Pulse score (lowest first, so at-risk clients appear at the top).

  2. Click To Do to see all projects and tasks across your portfolio. You can filter by status, assignee, due date, tags, and linked company.

  3. Click Inbox to see email conversations linked to your companies. Emails are automatically associated based on domain matching with your companies' website fields.

What Success Looks Like

You can log in, immediately see what needs attention, and navigate to any area of the platform within two clicks. Your dashboard reflects your actual workload — not every task in the firm, just the ones assigned to you and the companies you manage.

Troubleshooting

My dashboard is empty. You may not be assigned to any companies. Ask your team administrator to add you as an assignee on the companies you manage. Users without the View All Clients permission scope only see companies where they're listed as an assignee.

Pulse scores show as "No Data." Pulse requires email interaction data to calculate. If your team hasn't connected email yet, or if the companies you manage don't have recent email activity, the score will show as null until enough data accumulates.
