Your profile is what other team members and, in some cases, your clients see when you interact in CX. Taking five minutes to configure it now means your emails go out with the right signature, your notifications reach you in the right channels, and your colleagues can identify you at a glance in task assignments and activity feeds.
Before You Begin
You must be logged in to CX. If you haven't set up your account yet, see Logging In to Stax.ai.
Have a professional headshot or photo ready if you'd like to add a profile picture (JPEG or PNG, under 5 MB).
Update Your Display Information
Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Select My Account.
Update the following fields:
Display Name — this appears on task assignments, email threads, and activity logs. Use your full professional name, for example, Sarah Chen.
Phone Number — optional, but helpful if your team coordinates by phone. Format: (555) 867-5309.
Profile Photo — click the avatar circle to upload. This photo shows next to your name in comments, task assignments, and the team directory.
You should now see: your updated name and photo reflected in the profile panel.
Configure Your Email Signature
Scroll to the Email Signature section.
Enter your signature as you'd like it to appear at the bottom of emails sent from CX. Most TPAs include their name, title, firm name, phone number, and any required compliance disclaimers.
Click Save.
Tip: Your email signature in CX is separate from your email client's signature. If you send emails from both CX and Outlook/Gmail, update both to keep them consistent.
Set Notification Preferences
Navigate to Notification Preferences (from the same profile menu).
Choose which events trigger notifications: task assignments, task completions, due date reminders, email replies, and project status changes.
Select your delivery channel: in-app notifications, email digests, or both.
Click Save Preferences.
Tip: If you're new to CX, start with all notifications enabled. You can dial them back once you have a feel for the volume. Most plan consultants keep task assignment and due date reminders on, but turn off activity feed notifications to reduce noise.
What Success Looks Like
Your profile now shows your name, photo, and contact information. Emails you send from CX include your custom signature. You'll receive notifications for the events that matter to your role without being overwhelmed by noise.
