Before you can start working in CX, you need to access the platform using the login method your team administrator has configured. CX supports three authentication options, each offering a different balance of convenience and security.
Most TPAs handling sensitive client data, payroll information, and compliance documents use Password + MFA as their default.
Before You Begin
You’ll need the invitation email sent by your team administrator. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a message with your TPA firm’s name and “Invitation” in the subject line.
If your team uses Password + MFA, have your authenticator app ready (Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
Use a modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari. CX is not optimized for Internet Explorer.
Steps
Open the invitation email and click Create Your Account.
Enter your full name, create a password, and confirm it. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Click Create Account.
You should now see: a confirmation screen and a prompt to log in with your new credentials.
Navigate to cx.stax.ai and enter your email address and password.
Enter your email.
Enter your password.
What happens next depends on your team’s login method:
Password Only
You’ll go directly to your dashboard. This is the simplest option but offers the least protection. It’s suitable only if your organization has minimal security requirements.
Password + MFA (Recommended)
After entering your password, you’ll see a prompt for a verification code.
Open your authenticator app and find the 6-digit code for Stax.ai.
Enter the code and click Verify.
Tip: If this is your first login with MFA, you’ll be asked to scan a QR code with your authenticator app. Keep a screenshot of the QR code in a secure location in case you need to re-register your device.
Password-less
Enter your email address on the login page.
Check your inbox for a secure sign-in link from Stax.ai.
Click the link. It will log you in directly — no password needed.
Important: Password-less sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. If the link has expired, return to the login page and request a new one. Stax.ai will ONLY send emails from [email protected]. Do not click links from any other address.
What Success Looks Like
After completing these steps, you’ll land on your CX dashboard. You should see your name in the top-right corner and, depending on your permissions, a view of your assigned tasks, recent activity, and company health indicators.
Troubleshooting
I didn’t receive an invitation email. Ask your team administrator to resend the invitation from the team settings area. Check your spam or junk folder — invite and password-reset emails will ONLY be sent from [email protected]. Always verify this address before clicking any links in your email.
If you have questions about if an email you received is legitimate, please contact your administrator or [email protected].
My password isn’t accepted. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you’ve forgotten it, click “Forgot Password” on the login page to receive a reset link. The reset link expires after 1 hour.
My MFA code isn’t working. Authenticator codes refresh every 30 seconds. Make sure the code hasn’t expired before entering it. If your device’s clock is out of sync, the codes won’t match — check your phone’s time settings and enable automatic time sync.
I can’t see anything after logging in. Your administrator may not have assigned you to any companies yet. Contact your team admin and ask them to verify your role and company assignments.
