Where to see bulk email results
Every bulk email send is recorded on the template you sent it from. Open the send to see how many messages went out, which recipients were left out and why, and whether anything needs your attention. This is also where you check on a send you scheduled for a future date.
Key capabilities
A record of every send. See what you sent, when, and to how many recipients.
Recipient-level detail. Each recipient shows whether the message was sent or skipped, with the reason for a skip.
A clear final status. Know at a glance whether a send delivered fully, delivered partly, or was stopped before delivery.
Notifications and tasks. Stax.ai CX tells you when a send finishes and creates a task when something needs fixing.
Open a send's results
Click Library in the left sidebar, then click Emails.
Open the template you sent from.
Find the send in the Bulk Sends list.
Click the send to open its breakdown.
Scheduled sends that haven't run yet appear in your list of scheduled sends. Open one to confirm its date, time, timezone, and recipient setup before it goes out.
What each status means
Scheduled — waiting for its date and time.
Sending — messages are going out now.
Sent — every recipient received the email.
Partial — some recipients received it and some were skipped. Open the send to see which.
Failed — nothing was delivered. On a send with Stop the send if any recipient can't be evaluated turned on, this means one or more recipients couldn't be evaluated, so the whole send was held back.
Note: On a stopped send, the breakdown shows rows only for the recipients that couldn't be evaluated. The recipients that were ready were held back and don't appear as rows, so the row count will be smaller than the audience you selected. The notification you receive names how many were held back.
Notifications and tasks
When a send completes normally, you're notified that all emails have been sent successfully.
When an all-or-nothing send is stopped, you're notified that your bulk email was not sent, with a count of how many recipients could not be evaluated and how many were fine but held back.
A stopped send also creates a task listing what needs fixing, so it doesn't get lost.
You're all set! Reviewing the breakdown after each send is the fastest way to catch a client whose contact information needs updating.
Tips
Check the breakdown after your first send to a new audience. Skipped rows usually point to missing contact assignments you'll want to fix once.
Numbers on the send list are a summary. The breakdown is the source of truth for who received what.
